How long will it last!!!
Hi everyone, been quite a while for us now that Harrison's reflux has been sort of under control, Untill now!!!!.........His.coughing all the time .
Yes after all this time his 22 month old now and we thought it would all be gone by now!!!.
Sleeping is becoming a prob again....up crying alot in the night.
Also can any of you Mums out there hear their babies belly's moaning and gurgling when they are unsettled. This is soooo upsetting for us!!
Our consultant has done a barrium now after all this time and his reflux did show up.....still on meds of which we thought he would be off by now. Omp 10mgs a day, Just dont know how long this is all gonna last for, his also developing a very red rash on his face which consultant thinks is linked to reflux ???
Has anyone got any advise for us pls.
Has anyone got babies of Harriosns age or older who's still on meds and still gets bad reflux.

Hi Nikki,
Sorry to hear about Harrison, 22 months is a long time for reflux, it should be resolved by 12!! My daughter Freya will be 3 next month and we are worse than ever suffering with Reflux :( She is on 40mg Omeprazole, 80 mg Domperidone and 60mg aldult Gavison per day, she has also just been diagnosed with anemia so is also Sytron to treat that, she is still undergoing tests for her anemia, but they think it is down to her reflux, she has frequent gastric bleeding, plus she is over medicated, but without medication she vomits blood every day!! They are going to test for H.Pyloric (an infection to ther gut).
I totally sympathise with you, Freya coughs all night and we all have bad sleep, yes the tummy moaning is heard and felt in Freya, as she has got older she can tell me her tummy hurts and she wants to be sick!! Sorry I haven't got any positive news for you.
What tests has Harrison had???
Is he on any other meds than omeprazole??
How is his growth??
