I now dealing every moment of the day with trail of sick everywhere ...im just so glad we have wooden floor!We went to see Ollies pead for a review and as he was doing so well the took him off the Domp.Ollie is still on 10mg Omeprazole daily but it just doesnt seem to make the slightest differance. Also due to the cows milk issue i put him on soya(he doesnt drink that much milk so no harm)But Oh my lord!! the tummy cramps/pain and screaming went on for 3 days solid! but absolutly no sick! Ollie…See More

"The symptoms of CMPI and reflux are similar and sometimes a child with CMPI can be misdiagnosed with reflux.  For us, once our boys had settled on prescription formula (ie off all dairy) we were told to reduce the reflux meds to test. …"

"Yes, this sounds like CMPI.  Lots of children with it can tolerate small amounts of cows milk in cooked products but not have it by itself.  My twins both have CMPI and when they time comes, they usually recommend trying milk in…"

"Maybe he is very mildly CMPI then, but can tolerate milk processed into formula or broken down by cooking? I guess you need to stick with formula as a drink and keep offering water."

"High fat foods slow gastric emptying so can make reflux worse, maybe full fat milk at 4% fat is enough to have this effect? Semi skimmed milk is about 2% fat. Could you try half and half and see if he tolerates that? Or just use the semi-skim and…"

Ok i know not strictly a reflux issue but thought some of you may have and understanding or idea of what this is aboutOllie since birth has never had an issue with milk, most of his foods and formula have contained semi-skimmed milk, he is absolutly fine with dairy products but yet when it comes to drinking full fat milk he instanty has a reaction to it with cottage cheese like vomit tummy pain and explosive nappiesWith things like cereal i always use semi skimmed and his morning eveninf bottle…See More
