"If you've tried for a month and it's not settling down then I guess he is just not ready for the lower dose. If giving a bit more omep stops the behaviour that does strongly suggest it's linked to discomfort from acid. The other way…"

Quick question for anyone who may have any idea about the above title!We are currently trying to reduce our sons omperazole from 10mg a day.He takes it in liquid form and is down to 4ml a day from 5ml but everytime we go under 4ml his behaviour gets very bad and he becomes restless.Is this normal and if we ride through it will he be better or does he have to go back up to 4ml?We have put him back up to 4ml in the past and he has improved but the thing is he isnt sick or anything its just his…See More

"Thomas can take most dairy as long as it isnt rich like full fat milk, icecream, yoghurt and cream. Guess we are lucky, even though he has severe reflux he can still tolerate most foods. x"

Hi there!!

I am new to this site, its a shame i never found it before now! My son is 2 in July and was diagnosed with G.O.R.D at 6 months old. This was only after fighting and arguing with doctors that he was not suffering with colic, i knew this because i already had a 7 year old when thomas was born and know what colic is like from when he was little.
