Yes its been a long time since i was last on, but ive been reading many of the posts and they all sound too familiar. My boy is now approaching 3 years old and is a thriving, healthy little boy! I've ended up with Depression

Hi guysI joined this site a few months ago as my son suffers with severe Reflux. Well he is now 13 months and I am afraid to say still has it.He has Carobel to thicken his feeds which has worked wonders at keeping the sick down and we have just had to up his Ranitidine to 3ml twice a day. The Paed hopes that when he is walking (not long now trust me) it should improve greatly, so fingers crossed.In the meantime, I have found this past year very difficult. My little boy is a different little baby! Ranitidine eases the acid pain and the wonderful wonderful Carobel keeps the milk down! No more do I have to mop up sick all day long, we now just have the odd dribble! We stopped the Infant Gaviscon as it never worked 1st time round and I felt it did nothing this time either.

We had a hiccup a couple of weeks ago when we ran out of Carobel and the Pharmacy had to order it in. So for 48 hours we had my old boy back with… Continue

Day 1 with new medication

Well its just over 24 hours since we started using the Infant Gaviscon and Carobel and I have to admit there is an improvement already. He's been on Ranitidine for 3 weeks which stopped the acid pain and screaming and turned him into a happy little baby for the first time since he was born.

After feeds now he has a little sick which comes up with wind, and maybe a couple of more sicky ups with more wind shortly after but thats it! Its wonderful.
