she had the op on thursday last week came home on tesday she is doing okay can't eat anything and is being pump feed 600mls of milk a day,she has a very neat scar, long it 7cm long bigger than i thought,but she ahs done great, still has reflux but they hope it will all settle down when the swelling has gone down,See More

got a provisonal date for the 30th september,she is having a fundopication, her peg tube changed to a button and removale of granulation tissue from around peg site,very worried but know its going to help her so much,See More

i am kelly mum to 3 girls mt yongest Abbie is nearly 7 months old has a rare chromasome disorder called Trisomy 9p. she is developmentally delayed. Abbie is 29 weeks and her devlopment age is at 10 weeks
she was dx with reflux when she was 4 months old due to poor muscle tone she is on 2mls of domperidone 4 times a day 1ml of ranitadine 3 times a day gaviscon and netramgen milk for a cow milk proten allergy.
Abbie is NG tube feed cause she cant take enough milk orally and it makes her reflux a bit better.
we have been finding things very hard cause she is up all night coughing and choking.
she brings up whole feed on a regullar basis.

thanks for taking the time to send a message.
we may have a way of helping her she is having a gatostomy [tube in her tummy] but we cant get her in till the 1st july but her docs think the improvement is going to change her life and ours.
we can only hope it dose at this point.
i too hate to see babies in pain but its such hard work to get anybody to listen when there is a problem and i also think that not enough people know just how much reflux can hurt and distrupt babies lifes and devlopment.
sorry for ranting cant help myself. lol.
