"I would freecycle for a dishwasher if you have space!! Have you tried any other brands of standard wide neck teat in them apart from boots, I am sure they are all different, the boots ones are definiely harder than Dr b's own. xx"

Got ranitidine and a referral!

Finally saw a good Dr who prescribed Ava with ranitidine. She's said 0.5ml 3x daily. I'm not sure how effective this dose will be given she's a big baby she was 15lb 1oz at 15 week and she's 19 weeks…Continue

Ranitidine suspension is 15mg/ml so 0.5ml is 7.5mg.
Thats 1mg/kg, right at the bottom of the dose range which is 1-3mg/kg three times a day.

Hi all! I'm Vanessa, mommy to Ava who is 4 months and suffers with silent reflux! I live in Leeds! *wave* I was unable to breastfeed Ava due to no milk and we've had probs right from the start. She had horrendous colic for 11 weeks with a crossover of silent reflux (I thought she was just a fussy baby and didnt like the milk so tried different ones!).
