Endoscopy on my 9 monther

Hi, I saw the Gastroentologist(?) and he has put my 9 month, she'll be ten months, through for an endoscopy. I came away thinking I can get some info and cancel it if i don't fancy it as he almost gave me the choice. Has anyone else's baby had one? Im worried about the anaesthetic. also has anyone any experience of a stomach biopsy? what might he be looking for? I know I should have asked him but we've had a few problems with Mia and I get anxious! thanks

hello sorry I cant be of help but my wee girl is 4 months and was feeding terribly with silent reflux. I could only get about 14-18oz in her in a day. She is quite content and chubby cheeked so of course the gp fobbed me off with the usual colic…

9 month old lost weight - is it because of reflux?

Hi Im wondering what other peoples experiences with baby reflux weight loss are.Mia is my second child and is 9 months old. Her reflux was finally diagnosed at 5 months and she was put on Donperidone and ranitidine. For a while these worked great she was like a different child, but now her reflux is back and seems worse than ever! Mia is under a Paed anyway as she has developmental delays due to very poor vision (we believe that this is a delay which should improve and has a little already)…See More
