Susie, Another very good gastro paed is Dr Thomson who does 1 day a week in London but the rest of the time he's in Leeds - that's half way nearer to you. Look on his website :www.paediatricgastroenterologist.co.uk , I think he's a…

Victoria, My son is the same. He's now 24 weeks and I saw the dietitian for him yesterday. The best way to get the baby to take more milk is to put it in her solids. He only takes max 60 ml per bottle and about 230 ml on average a day from the…

Hi all, I've always been told to avoid water for my LO as well although to be honest l don't have any choice as it comes immediately back up and chokes her badly. If you think about it thicker fluids and food help reflux because they stay…

I would agree with Kelly. You should investigate the lactose intolerance further. I had the same problem with my little one, I breastfed him for the first 3 months and in fact he had a lactose intolerance. Have a look on…

Karen, I was told by the paediatric dietitian we were referred to, to avoid water for reflux babies as this makes it flare up. Not sure if htis is of help. Sarah

Karen, Did you make the decision to put him back on Aptimil or did you wait till you went back to see the paed? It is another 5 weeks till we will get an appt. Did he get worse when you put him back on Aptimil?
