"What are you giving her solids-wise, Sally? I think reflux is a manifestation of a relatively immature gut, so I would introduce solids slowly particularly in terms of quantities and number of meals. The baby-led weaning mantra "food is for fun…"

Constipation now on solids - any advice

Hi there, Just found 2 replies I hadn't seen before to one of my old threads. Thanks Jenny and Sara.Just a few quick questions. My DD is now on solids and has been weaning for the last 5 weeks. She seems to be having quite a lot of probs with her bottom end at the mo - wind/straining poos out etc but she is going once a day at least just seems to hurt her and wake her in the night. I had decided just to grin and bear it but it's definitely getting worse now and causing her to refuse some feeds…See More

SR V intolerance and weaning

Hi. My DD has quite mild SR, is now 7 months and was put on Neocate in December after having a bit of a reaction to Nutramigen 1. We went from the Nut 1 to Aptamil Comfort for about 5 days while we waited for the prescribed Neocate to arrive, and the constipation, wheezing, coughing and refluxing died right down to a very manageable level, but started to get a little bit worse again so we thought we'd give the Neocate a go. After 8 weeks on the Neocate, the only difference we noticed between it…See More
