No worries, I'm just so sad that there are so many little babies suffering (needlessly) like this. It's heartbreaking to think of the pain they are in and we can't take it away from them, I'm sure all of us would take it x100 if it meant they were pain free!
If you'd like the wedge, it's yours, don't worry about paying me. It would be great if it could help a baby instead of just sitting there (I'm hoping to have another baby at some point and really hoping that it won't have reflux!!). Would you mind just paying for postage/packaging as I'd feel a bit cheeky asking mum to pay! Just let me know and I can ask mum to send it to you.
Hope you're coping okay and that you have people to help you. Well done for breastfeeding this long! If it's any consolation, once we got Leo's meds and tongue tie sorted out, the breastfeeding actually became calm time and he finally even fell asleep when feeding (something he would NEVER have done at the beginning). Also, I don't know if it's something you would consider or have tried but I gave Leo a dummy at the beginning (my nipples were so sore - partly because of the tongue tie) and it really helped him. They produce more saliva which helps with the acid and the sucking really, immediately calms him down. Plus it gave me a bit of a break - big help when dealing with my other son! I really hate dummies normally, especially when toddlers talk through them but it really has been a lifesaver for us.
Anyway, sweet dreams and big hugs to your little girl.
Speak to you soon!
Natalie
