Sorry its taken a few days to get back to you - we've been away over New Year and then had visitors, manic! So lovely to hear from you, and that you are in HW too! Sorry to hear you have a little one with reflux tho :-( its rubbish isn't it...I hope the domperidone is helping? We are seeing an improvement with Ben at the moment but have been through the mill with him bless him, he's had lots of meds - gaviscon, domperidone, omeprazole and ranitidine all togther at one point but since Nov down to just omeprazole, hurrah! Still on Neocate though. We have an appointment with a specialist at Gt Ormand St on the 25th but wish it hadn't taken so long, he will be 2 in March and has been much worse than this in the past - feel like we could have done with this much more a year ago but we'll still take him, theres a few bits I'm still worried about. Please don't worry though and think that you will have such a long time to deal with this - most children do grow out of it much sooner!!
So glad you contacted me when you did - I am starting a new Reflux Suport group at Hampden Way Childrens Centre from Mon 17th Jan 10-11am, every fortnight. Would SO love you to come along and meet you and your boys! Do you know the Hampden way centre? Its Totteridge/Micklefield area. The idea is just to get us mums (or dads!) together as we all know what its like to go through sleepless nights and feeding worries due to reflux.
