sorry hun..if he is not in any pain im afraid you are right,i doubt they will be too interested.
i would still be inclined to not rock the boat and carry on with nutramigen but maybe add carobel to it?

i havent any advice as such but just to let you know that 17 weeks seems to be a bad time for many refluxers in terms of volume of sick
for us 4-6 months was def the worst for sickness and in the end i gave up with constant clothes…"

My little girl (and her twin brother) arrived 10 weeks early. Try asking your GP about Domperidone. She takes it 4 times a day and seems to help. It helps her digest the food quicker in her stomach and is also an anti sickness…"

Hi all, just after a bit of advice on my son. He is 17 weeks old and has refulx since birth. When he was 6 weeks old he was prescribed gaviscon which worked well, he had symptoms including arching back, hiccups poor sleep, restless and constant crying etc. However after a few weeks the gaviscon seemed to not be as effective so went back to GP which was pointless. i would def agree it sounds like your lo needs more meds,maybe ranitidine or omeprazole

polly finn replied to Nicola Harris's discussion Advice needed re medication"Poppy also has really bad hiccups when reflux is bad. The only thing that stopped them was to leave her to scream, I'm sure hiccups make the pain worse as I could here stomach contents washing back up."
