I cant beleive how common this is.  My LR holds his breath at night with his reflux (worse was 17 times) we were taught resus and everything just in case and are under a dietition and pead doc but no one said dairy could cause a problem.I cut it out about 5 days ago now after what i have read on here and my own research on what makes him reflux and have had no episodes since. Hello I have a little boy who is now 4 1/2 months old and was diag with silent reflux at 8 weeks. He used to hold his breath while feeding. He was put on meds and did a lot better and then at 12 weeks he started stopping breathing at night, we know because we have one of the monitors with a pad that goes off after 20 seconds  (he holds his breath for up to 55 seconds) during the night.
