what medications is he on? I dont think that a constant tube feed will prevent reflux. when oscar was on NG he vomitted more than when he was not on the tube but he had to be on it to feed him.

my little boy is 7 months old and has had an NG tube now for 2 months, at our last appointment the issue of a gastric tube was mentioned because my boy fights the NG tube, gets distressed when we tube his milk and is taking less of his solids. The consultant said NG tubes can have an adverse affect on weaning and in 2 weeks we need to make a decision about a gastric tube. Does anyone have any experience of these, I am terrified.See More
