"Hi and welcome. My comments would be 1. Your omeprazole dose sounds low (1mg/ml solution => a 5mg dose). Dose range is 0.7-3mg/kg so I would guess you are towards the bottom end and if she is still in pain then it probably needs increasing. 2.…"

helloooo! I'm laughing because it's like Mathew and Ron are separated at birth! Your reply is an exact mirror of the Do Ron Ron just now. I suppose they are like us and have food days and bad days. Wish they could tell us what's on their mind sometimes.

Like you say though, you being a Vet you understand people and animals who can't talk. Where is the Vet School you went to? Funnily enough, my partner is from Bristol (isn't that your home town)? I was down in cornwall visiting his mum and dad recently and fell in love w west country. I think we're going to move there at some point. Maybe when ron's a bit older. We only drove through Brizzle but I'd love to check it out properly as that's an option for moving. Thought about going for christmas but we drove w ron last time and it was a tooootal nightmare!! Never again. Even thought of flying w him fills me w anxiety! I suppose you just have to get on and do things as much as poss though to feel normal!

Anyway, thx for the msg and i will fill you in on peadiatrician chat the morra!!

Lots love xx

Thankyou

Hey Jen

Thank you so much for your reply. You have made things make sense for us now :)

At the moment we don't know if we are coming or going!!!

Chloe will not take the pepti at all so given up trying to give to her cause she was not taking any milk.

We were going to start the Lanzoprazole until we was not sure how much to give to her. Called the chemist and they said they have never known a baby to take it before and it may not be safe for her to have! It's becoming a nightmare now.

Going to post something on here a couple of times to see if any other mums have used it before I give it to Chloe.

I just have a couple of questions I'm sorry to be a pain but your so knowledgeable  and explain things so well.

If the zoton fastab Lanzoprazole does not work and that's the last of the reflux meds what happens next if it's not a milk intol either??

And do reflux meds like Lanzoprazole interfere with the 4 month injections because poor Chloe gets quite unwell after her jabs just wondering if meds could make things worse???

Thank you again for your help

Nat and Chloe x x

Going to search Internet again to see if anybody else is on the zoton fastab tablets so far can't find any babies taking it :(

Hi Jen, hope you don't mind me adding you. I come across an old post which you mentioned you craving dairy whilst you were pregnant and that there is a link between this and cows milk intolerance/allergy. It struck a cord with me as when I was pregnant I craved at ate dairy milk chocolate like there was no tomorrow and also craved milkshakes and drunk pints of it lol! I was wondering if you have anymore info on this, I have done an Internet search but didn't manage to find anything. Verity xx

Brilliant thank you. I wasn't sure how to word the google search. I ha thought that it's is too much of a coincidence that I craved dairy and now Finley is allergic to dairy. One of those things you never think about when your pregnant. Thanks again x
