I think so doc's need to have their qualications checked out! My doc wouldn't refer me either, luckly i have my son on private med cover so i went staight to the private hospital without needing to be refered. What are ur babys symptoms?
Sorry you had to stay in hospital but did they get it sorted for you?
Suzanne
So sorry to hear about ur experience. My son is also on meds - domperidome and losec mumps tablets. They do give quick results, but as my son puts on weight he has to have a increase in the dose. He is showiong good progress, thank god! He's happy and turning in2 a cheeky monkey. He still has his off days and burping can be an issue. I find as he can sit now as he plays with his toys thy act as a distraction and he burps. Also after his solid feeds i give him warm water in a beaker that also helps him burp well. I wish gp's woould get their acts together, i feel for the people who can't afford to go private (as its not cheap) and who's children and parents have to suffer this awful illness which could lead to more serious problems. My friens tell me to sue my gp, but u know, i don't have the energy as its all put into looking after my son. Hes coming upto 71/2 months now and i'm seeing a small flash lite at the end of the tunnel.
Pls stay in touch.x
michelle
