Hi. Does everyone else have to take their babies out in the pram or in the car to get them to sleep for any length of time in the day? My baby, Zach is 10 weeks old, diagnosed with reflux from about…Continue

The night time sleep sounds the same - at least we are lucky that our LO slept in the day but always in her pram with the back on an incline, outside (yes in all weathers and we live in Scotland - the whole being snug in a snowsuit, cosy toes, rain…

My lo used to only sleep in his bouncy chair so I used to sleep on the sofa next to him and my mum luckily used to give me a break every few nights, he is the only baby I have ever known who even screamed in the car or his pram, eventually I gave up…

My son used to sleep in his bouncy chair or occasionally his car seat in order to be propped up. Spent loads of time in a sling attached to my front so he was upright and I could do stuff. Sorry it is so tough for you all. We thankfully seem to be…

It is so hard isn't it. Had a particularly hard day yesterday as went to a baby massage class as recommended by a health visitor which was a mistake as Zach just cried the whole way through and the rest of the class had babies that were sitting…

It's the same with me - people are always saying try to get some rest in the day, sleep when they sleep. I would but by the time i actually fall asleep (spend half an hour laying there worrying about the reflux) she is awake and screaming…

Yes sounds pretty similar to me. I have to admit that the only thing that kept anyone sane was to have my son in bed with us. I realise it isn't a great long term solution but for the first few months was completely invaluable. And he has moved…

Sleeping - or lack of!!

Hi. Does everyone else have to take their babies out in the pram or in the car to get them to sleep for any length of time in the day? My baby, Zach is 10 weeks old, diagnosed with reflux from about 5 weeks. He was on Ranitidine and Domperidone but didn't seem to do anything. Had a pediatrician appointment yesterday and he had prescribed Loses MUPS and if we don't see any improvement by Friday then to try Nutramigen to see if he has a cows milk protein intolerance. He cries all day and evening…See More

Is there anything I can do to help the screaming?

Hi. My son is 6 weeks old and has recently been diagnosed with reflux after 3 weeks of crying in the evenings and after feeds. Hopefully this will happen soon as I am really feeling stressed out with the screaming after feeds and in the evenings. I just wanted to find out if other babies scream in pain for hours on end in the evenings and…See More
