Jenny Rawling replied to Claire Sanderson's discussion How do you give your little one Ranitidine?
"It's really shocking that the pharmacist got it wrong by a factor of 10, but not that surprising. My GP and pharmacist have both told me completely ridiculous doses and only realised they were wrong because I questioned it. I'm a vet so…"

Sara B replied to Claire Sanderson's discussion How do you give your little one Ranitidine?
"I had an issue with the strength of the prescription of ranitidine, if you search my posts back on here you will probably find my rant about it. Converting medicines by ml is difficult unless you know if you are dealing with Milligrams or…"

"Victoria, well used to it! William had episodes, worse ones involved a trip in an ambulance and another visit to A&E."

William's story so far

He was born 3rd September eventually, after keeping me awake for 4 nights as my contractions kept stopping and starting. At a couple of weeks old he started to display all the classic symptoms of colic. We used infacol and then had to give up as he started spitting it out and feed times became frought with trying to get it in him. He never settled in his crib at night and the only way I could get him to sleep was on my chest. We didn't have a "bedtime" as it was hard enough getting him to sleep… Continue

Glad to hear that you're all doing well, so lovely to share postive things at last. You've done really well with the gaviscon. Rohan's doing pretty well thanks. Vomiting a bit more since he has a bigger amount of food, but thats not everyday. Unfortunately he still keeps getting bouts of teething pains- but still no teeth!!!
He's really come on alot in the last month, despite not being able to lie him on his back until a month ago he's now rolling, sitting up and trying to crawl! just shows you that they all catch up in the end. have a good day sal x
