Medication Tips

Medication tip: Omeprazole comes in 3 main forms - a suspension, a capsule and a dispersible tablet. The suspension has a shelf life of up to two weeks and then loses effectiveness, it is also extremely expensive, has to be specially made up and not all pharmacists are knowledgeable about this and it can taste awful. The capsule can work for the older baby if you break open the capsule and tip the tiny balls of the med into a spoonful of fruit puree and feed to your child. The dispersible…See More

Reflux info and my Book Launch

Hi Everyone, Thankyou so much for all the info and stories everyone posted and sent me. It is all amazingly helpful and although I could not use all the info for my book I am going to put some stories into a pdf link to my website when it is launched in December.My book is due for publication on Jan 14th and I have dedicated one chapter of around 20,000 words to the subjuct of reflux and dietary related intolerances......a drop in the ocean I know, but at least a start in trying to raise…See More

Two months to diagnose spit and vomit very poor weight gain. did not breast feed all formulas and now infratrini still debating on the lactose and dairy intolorant gaviscon, ranitadine, then omperazole domperidone omperoazole work not ranitadine it…
