Oh your poor little man!!!! I hope he's been okay overnight. If you don't mind me asking, how bad is his reflux normally? We have a Barium Meal next weeks and I'm dreading that.

We only found out he had reflux when he was 41/2 yrs old thats 6 months ago. His symptoms are waking and crying in the night off an on all night since he was one. Coughing alot. Tummy ache, drinking alot. Apparently it's silent reflux no sicky symptoms so hard to diagnose.
We had a barrium swallow done a few wekks ago. Because of his age it was difficult to do as he refused to drink the barium. They let me taste it and it was OK but he does have food aversions so was stubborn about drinking it. In the end he drank it from a cup with a lid with us holding him. He didn't like it but we got it done and he got treats after. The nurses were great with him and we got some good shots of his insides which we will see later today.
I think the briumwill be easier to do on a younger child so try not to worry. my little boy recovered quickly after it. good luck let me know how you get on.
