Hi there,

My baby daughter is 9 weeks and we are really struggling with her silent reflux.  When & where is the support group for South Bucks? Hope you can help.

Hi ladies,

HUGE apologies for the delay in responding Pippa, thought I had already but obviously not, sorry. ..

Sorry to hear your little ones are suffering, its a horrible condition :-(

We are actually meeting this morning, and still every Monday morning in term time, 10am -11 (though usually goes on a bit after that! ) at Hampden Way Children's Centre, off St Hughes Avenue, High Wycombe.

I appreciate its probably a bit late for you to make it today now but we'd love to see you next week, its a lovely little group of mum's all going through the same.

Hi Emily,

Really sorry we haven't made it to the Monday sessions since the first one we attended - Mondays have been so hectic recently, plus Annabelle destroyed my phone (lost all numbers etc) so have been unable to text.

She is now 10 months, and for some reason her reflux has come back a bit more - maybe due to teething?  We are hoping to make the group this week - one of the mums gave such a useful tip with the plastic pelican bibs :-)

Well I'm sorry too - beeen meaning to text you! Life is hectic in general and kept forgetting! Sorry Annbelle destroyed your phone - nightmare! Will text you my number again.

It can flare for numerous reasons - teething, bugs, different foods, so hard to tell! Sorry to hear that though. Hopefully see you next Monday and we can chat more - we only have next week before we break for Easter holidays, and after Easter the group is changing slightly as the Childrens Centre want to make it more of a 'baby cafe' drop in for anyone with a baby but have specialist help and advice around for breastfeeding, reflux, oral health etc...will still be on every week but I may not be there every week now, as Monday is my only day off with my little man, so will apreciate the time with him but also there will be other support there - I'll prob drop down to fortnightly.

 

Will be great to see you both though!

Are the meetings still on? I am mum to an 11 week old girl with milk protien allergy and reflux in Aylesbury. Would love to meet other mums going through the same things. Hester.
