i have not tryed a cranial osteopath,i have seen so many doctors they all say different things i dont evan think they no them selfs wot a reflux is my little boy has had hes reflux sins birth,he was put on neocate baby milk because they thought he was lactose intolerence but hes not i also had to put gavison in his bottles it made him constipated and i found it did not rilly help only with the acid not with the reflux,i have got him on a new milk now called emfamil wich is for babys with reflux probs but now hes having problems again with his reflx and he has had diaroea for 8 days and the doctors have not helpt a bit i think there is more to it doctors theses days are no good i dont find they help me with my little man good luck with ur littlr one i hope u get the help u need charlotte

Thats so sad, that you and your little Boy are not getting the help and support you need. They had not said to me about a different milk, though I did ask if I should change it and they said to stay on the SMA Gold as it makes no difference changing it. Though I do know what you mean about the constipation - my Daughter has been really suffering with this and we are having to give her additional water (with a little milk powder in it as she will not drink plain water). I will let you know how it goes tomorrow at the Cranial Osteopath. Has your little Boy tried any other medication? My Daughter has never lost weight and is rapidly gaining weight, and this is all the medics and Health Visitors seem interested in. They seem to think that if the weight gain is good then there is nothing to worry about, but she is in so much distress and pain - something I am sure you are more then familiar with your Son. I am very much the same my lil boy is on the 98th centile, and I just keep getting well he is definately thriving!!! Arghhhh yes I no that that's not my problem it's the pain he's in every night!!! He's 1 now and god I just wish I fought much harder stupid damn doctors!!! Sorry ramble there, also please let me no how u get on at your apt as I have just booked one for Monday and am so hoping it helps, as I am currently waiting to see a peadiatrician but cos my docs have said it's not urgent I've got to wait 6 weeks and I'm sure u no 6wks is a very long time, so hopfully the osteopath will give me some hope as I definately feel like I'm slowly going made lol!!! I have my fingers crossed for your appt x x take care x x
