LittleRefluxers

Hi

Thought I would introduce myself and Daisy, I originally joined when Daisy was 3 months old but then totally forgot, tired, busy, tired etc. Now I have rejoined with a 18 month old Daisy.

Hi Lisa
How is Daisy's reflux now she's older? I also joined when Debbie was about 3 months and the reflux was getting really bad, but have been too busy and tired to look at this site much since. She's 5 months now and we've started weaning her. She seems better but maybe its my wishful thinking or that I'm too distracted by the horrors of teething now instead!
Hi
Daisy only really suffers from reflux at night now, except when she is teething SORRY. She eats everything now, she loves jaffa cakes!. I didn't introduce fruit or chocolate until she was 11 months old because as you are probably aware they can irritate children with reflux, it was Daisy's doctor and paediatrician that both told me she needed fruit in her diet and I agreed with them. We didn't wean her on lumpy food until she was nearly 9 months because she suffered from tummy aches and would still cry out in pain.
Her reflux seems to flare up when she is teething or when she had her MMR, but that's another whole discussion!!.
On good weeks when she is not teething, the only way we know she still suffers from reflux is because she gets hiccups and has wind.
Is Debbie on Rantidine and Domperdone?.

Lisa
