What side effects has anyone noticed from Ranitadine and Omeprazole?

Hi, what a sigh of relief to find this website and realise others are going through this too. That i am not going mad when i tell gps and HV that Gaviscon gives lumpy pellets for poo and are painful! That activity often worsens the vomitting etc. I am also going through this on my own as am a single parent and can honestly say I have cried at least once every day for the last month! Zac is now on Ranitadine for a month. He has headaches ....he is only 12 weeks and when i tell GPs/ peads etc they tell me i cannot diagnose this! I know he paws at the side of his head by his eyes with his eyes all srewed up and often hits the back of his head repeatedly!!! Is that not a headache? I have also noticed that he REALLY jerks and bounces his head around either when up on my shoulder and dosing or when he comes round from sleeping. Last week i stopped his meds ..but went back on again on Tue and he started doing this again with his head whilst I had not noticed anything whilst off the meds. He also had a rash across his eyelids and eyebrows one day. DOCs/Peads seem to think i am making this up and that "babies do bounce their heads and rashes come and go". Anyone else notice any side effects? Am debating whether to ask pead for omeprazole? but is this a much stronger drug?
