LittleRefluxers

does anyone have any experience of this? oliver has been on it just over a month now, the first week i saw a definate improvment in his symptoms, his waking at night screaming and refluxing is greatly improved but.. he now seems to be hardly sleeping? he is not distressed just wide awake all the time? he has always had a good bedtime routine going down awake in his cot around 6 ish and getting up around 6 am (never sleeping through i might add mainly due to his symptoms) now when i put him down he is just not going off and ends up crying to come out, he is also doing this through the night and can be wide awake for hours.. he only naps for 1hr 30 in the day which i dont think is alot for 18 months old so i dont really want to reduce that and he definatley gets too tired not too nap... last night he finaly went off at 930pm and was up by 430am ready for the day.. this has been going on around 3 weeks or so now, seems a coincidence that he started a new med, which he has before bedtime.. any ideas?? the side effects do list insomnia but at less than 1 in 100 people..

hi kate
is he crying in the middle of the night or just lying awake?
he is just awake, he will cry untill i go in and comfort him or get him up..
although last night was different i could tell he was in pain and hear him refluxing as he was half asleep still and wanting to sleep but couldnt, i gave him a spoon of gaviscon in the end and he went back off
