MEDICAL INSURANCE - ANYONE GOT COVERED WITH REFLUX? AND NHS TESTS

Hi

Was just wondering if anyone had private medical insurance that covers existing conditions, or did you find they wouldnt cover because of the reflux existing that the doctors are aware of?

Trying to find ways of continuing private, instead of nhs, but cant afford costs. Having a battle trying to get NHS to do tests.

My next appointment at hospital is in 3 weeks but im so worried about my LO, i cant stand to see her in pain any longer but i cant wait 3 weeks, i really want them to do tests to confirm the reflux, has everyone found it better just to go to A and E, or to get referral from GP? Also does anyone know where we stand in regard to demanding the tests, what is our rights, do they have to do them?
