Any advice will be good, my daughter is now 6 month old and since she was 4 week old she has struggled on her bottles, only taking 3oz max a feed and believe me that is a struggle, we were fobbed off with the usual colic excuse till she was about 12 week old, when i pushed for a pead app, she was then diagnosed with silent reflux and suspected dairy intollerance, she was on ranitadine, helped with the screaming but not the intake of milk, tried every dairy free milk going 7 kinds to be exact, none of which she would take so had to keep her on normal sma, started weaning at 12 weeks on advice from h/v, and been struggling with weaning ever since, she was put on omeprazole 4 weeks ago, this has helped a little but not a cure.
The problem i have is anything with any type of texture, ready brek or jars that are not like water she just gags and then refuses to eat them, sometimes she eats and sometimes she doesnt, its just like i cant find anything she likes except pureed fruit (she will probably have a sweet tooth already), i am just at my wits end, im lucky if i can get 2 and a half oz down her per feed and then lucky if i get some food down too!!
She has slept through from 4 weeks, has no problem on her back and is happy as long as she is not eating.
She also is always blowing out of her nose, like you do when you get water up your nose, does anyone elses baby do this!
Please help!!!
By the way she has never lost weight but only gains about 1oz a week and is small!!
