My little boy is 8 mths old and absolutely hates taking the omeprazole from the syringe. Any advice on how else to give it?

Is it losec mups you are using? If so dissolve the tablet on a spoon. Suck off the excess water and cover with fruit purée.

We did that for months before switching to capsules as you can just pour the granules onto purée with them.
Hi Gillian it is the losec mups we have. What capsules is it? They would work much better for us.

This question is very timely for me as I've just started using the nurofen syringe and been going great for the last few days but today little man has worked out that if he closes his mouth I can't get it in there! :-/

It is so fustrating when they clamp their www mouths closed. Blowing gentle on his face should get him to open up. Or singing silly songs always help my one laugh then I would pop the syringe in mid laugh. The measures we have to go to for our wee ones :-)
I have found a bit of sugar in the syringe with water, or neat apple juice to dislve the tablet very effective. X
