Hi Vicki,

Can't remember your whole history or where you live.

Prof Murch in Coventry has been recommended by Dr Shah.

We see Mike Thomson in Sheffield. He has a mixed reputation in the reflux world but might be worth a shot. He diagnosed my LO with EGID and has disgnosed a few other allergic babies on here but misread the symptoms of some others nit realisin how severe their problems were. David Campbell also practises privately in Sheffield and we've seen him on the NHS too. He seemed ok but not so widely known as MT. He diagnosed CMPI in Douglas (prior to the EGID diagnosis) and put him on ranitidine and then omeperazole.
Don't know of anyone else I'm afraid.

Thanks Beverley yeah Sheffield isn't too far but reluctant to go to someone out of area I guess with mixed results iykwim. Sigh so hard to know what to do. Don't want to start cutting anything else out etc until seen someone and a dietician as I know eliminating gluten would affect any CD test (not to mention accuracy etc at this age) will see the wood for the trees maybe soon lol! X

dr fagbemi from manchester childrens does private appts at spire manchester and alexandra cheadle he has been recommended to me by a number of people but as yet we haven't gone down the private route x

Looked at his bio on web looks good re interests, specialities etc tried to ring Spire last night to see when he consults it was closed so will try again later. Much more feasible than GOSH so FX

Will let you know L and B how we go on 

Cheers. Beyond tired this morning he's hardly slept at all, screamed for over an hour in night and I have a lecture to give shortly arrghhhh
