Hello - i'm new on here

Hello,
I'm so glad to have found you all. My 5 week old has had reflux from day one. I had 2 days of midwives telling me it was normal for him to sick up every botle until one older midwive called the paed Dr who took baby away for x rays. He'd gone from 8'7 to 7'10 in 2 days! He was put in the baby unit for a week before being discharged with gaviscon. I have learnt to never lay him flat, to sit with him for 30 mins upright after each feed and to not change a nappy till an hour after a feed.
He has put on lots of weight and is a contented baby but this is a problem as my HV keeps commenting "Oh is he still on gaviscon" " Have you tried stopping it" "Have you tried laying him down after a feed"
Yes I have and the sickness comes back. And I have to keep saying that no it is not possiting it is at least half a bottle or more!

Anyway up until yesterday he was only sick every few days but since yesterday he has gone to being sick every other feed, a lot!
He is bunged up in his nose but nothing else has changed. Is this normal? Can gaviscon stop working?

He is chunky now and very hungry every 3 hours. I'm tempted to tru hungry baby aptamil or the comfort milk at the moment he is on aptamil 1. Can this be used with gaviscon or will it be too thick?He is 5 weeks now and back up to 10 pounds, he constantly wants to drink. So doesn't look udernourished!

I'd just started relaxing slightly and now i'm all a tizz again
