Having a few days from hell..
Im feeling so down. My lo has gone and got a monster cold. Shes only had 7oz's today ( if that ) and cant not breathe if laid down. I've tried elavating her cot but she screams and rolls about. Ive had to rock her to sleep in her pushchair on incline and Im too scared to move her. I was up all last night from 10 to 5.30am with constant screaming. I think the pushchair incline will go lower, at present I think its about 35 degrees. Every time I try to lower her she screams. I know you are not supposed to incline over 30, I dont know what to do, she wont sleep any other way. Do u think this will be ok for one night? I know its only a cold but Im exhausted and dont get any help with her and Ive got a knackered shoulder which Im having surgery on in a couple of weeks, so lifting her all the time is a nightmare.
Sorry for the moan ladies, just needed to vent x

You need to do what you need to do to get sleep! I've resorted to co sleeping with my baby in my arms feeding on and off, just to be able to sleep!

This may be a silly question. Have you tried the karvol vapour plugs. Whenever Finley has a cold we use that along with Vicks vapour chest rub and it really helps him.

Hi ladies,
The pushchair sleeping worked a treat. She still woke every 1/2 hr, but at least I could just lean out of bed and rock her. Much better than getting up and having to lift her out of her cot.
Verity- Yes, Ive got the plug in and I swear it does help, as does karvol drops. Will have to try the vicks though, wasnt sure how old they have to be before you could use them? Lily is 8 1/2 mths now.
Feel semi- unzombified this morning :) xx
