I am finally a happyish bunny as the paeds have finally decided we are not "putting it on" and our little girl needs medical attention. We were admitted onto the day unit yesterday due to missy refusing feeds/food and being sick etc again dispite all the meds she is on and......
They took enough blood from her for I think they said for 12 or 15 tests also urine and stool samples for different tests. They saw how difficult it is for her to pee took 3 1/2hrs to get a sample also while we were there she was meant to have 3 feeds of 5oz but managed the total of 4oz over the lot,
They have said once the results are in for our follow up next week they are looking at sending us to GOSH as they say she is too bad for them to deal with and needs more expertise. We have had our little girl in pain since she was born and she is now 10 months so fingers crossed we can now get some answers, be it she will grow out of it and we have to bide our time or it is something which needs medical help to improve.
We reckon the only reason they have suddenly taken us seriously is we asked for a referral to another hospital a few weeks ago due to the lack of care we felt we have received to date. So a kick up the bum so to speak from someone has made things happen at last
Finally it looks like this nightmare is going to be calmed down and we can start to enjoy our baby girl instead of being scared of what is round the next corner.
Neet xx
