Hi hun I would say thats very light for a 15 month old isn't it?? My LO drinks juice and won't drink milk so I would not be overly worried about that but if she is not eating well then I would be concerned - perhaps ring up your hospital and ask to be put through to either a dietician (for advice on how to replace the calcium from milk) or the child development team (they were great with us when we had bottle aversion and handle behavioural issues)

Good luck i hope it gets sorted out soon
thanks she has a dietician she is on polycal and calogen she is due to see the consultant in two weeks, see what he says, she is a little funny one
Hi ya, my little one is the same age, she is about 23lb in weight and loves her food. However the same as yours, loves jucie but wont touch milk, she started to refuse milk around 5 months old, hv told us to fill her up with yoghurt which she eat no problem.
When she reached around 12 months old her sleep patten changed, she started to wake a lot more. Around 14 months old the wakein began to become a patten 12.30am till 2.30am crying, whinging, bringing her knees up like she was in pain. Tried pain killers, nothing worked.
Myself and my hubby had though for a while could it be dairy, as she would scream if she had cheese, but as she had had a test for lactose intolerance, it was ruled out. However when she saw her consultant 3 weeks ago, she agreed it could be, and she was refered to a dietician. She is now on a total dairy free diet, but gets enough calcium through food eaten. Just wondered if maybe your little one just didnt like the taste of any thing that had milk of milk products in it. Sorry it a bit long winded. Her reflux is well under control but she is still on meds.
thanks so much for your reply. she has seen two consultants one thought she was dairy intolerant, however he did not do any tests her consltant believes she is not allergic the dietican not that bothered, she is so picky AND fussy with food, but just loves juice, we have got the consultant in two weeks. she also seems to have good weeks of eatng then not and looses all her weight, it is such a puzzle, but again i really appreciate your reply what would we do without this site, thanks ann
