LittleRefluxers

Hi
I have a 5 month old and have started to wean him (on the advice of his consultant). He is doing really well with the food but is still being fussy with his milk.
He is on Cow and Gate Soya milk.
I was wondering if anyone has any advice if it is too early to put him on full fat milk.

Hi ya my daughter at the same age TOTALLY turned of milk (Cow and Gate) I had to give her loads of yoghurt in place of the milk, she loved it. Never started full fat milk.
At 12 months old I tried to get her to drink ANY kind of milk ,but would have none of it, and even now present day (19 months) will not touch milk of any kinds.
She was diagnosed at 14 months with a dairy intolarence, and has soya on cereal only.
Hi
They don't recommend giving cows milk to drink until 12mths (ok in food- think it's a nutrition thing) but have you considered trying another formula?
Or maybe changing to diff flow teat?
Mine hated faster flow when I tried cup on HV advice (has slowest flow teat as also breastfed & faster flow made reflux worse) but some get frustrated with slow flow.
I'd experiment, but you could also increase dairy in diet to compensate.
Most babes seem to like yoghurt & cheese. My LO loves cheesy mash!
Good luck x
