LittleRefluxers

Hi all my Daughter is now 3 years old, been a silent refluxer since she was 5 wks old.

Celiac and cmpi. still on meds but not alot 2ml liquid gaviscon advanced and 10mg Omeprozole.

Early hours of sunday morning she began to be sick, and this continued for hours. Stopping through the day and her becoming fine, running round and playing all day, to then be sick again around 9pm. I started to wonder could this be the start of a needed increase in the Omeprozole... but to my pleasure (if I can call it that) I started to be sick and feel trible on the Monday afternoon, and my 8 year old son has also started throwing up last night (wednesday). So I know know this to be a bug.... How ever on Wednesday morning she began with needing the toilet all the time for a poo. She went three time within an hour around 10am, the consistancy was like penut butter and loads of it, (thought maybe through tummy bug) but the colour is yellow??????. After these three times she only twice more around 3pm, still yellow.

Ok I guess the body does strange things with having a bug..... bug the thing Im concerned about is.

1: Why still yellow poo when she seems fine, now going normal times.

2: She has not complained of tummy ache through the whole thing (sick or toilet), yet first thing my son said was my belly hurts.???

3: Could it be any thing to do with Soya, as shes always been fine with soya, (except soya yoghurt).

Maybe I just being a worried parent and panicing for nothing. Just cant get my haed round there being no other symptoms to having a tummy bug????

Any one any ideas please.....

Hi B, seeing as you've all had it I would think it's just the bug. Everyone will get slightly different symptoms to the same bug.
My dh and I had a tummy bug few months ago, god knows where from as Harry never caught it. We were both so sick for 2 days but only dh had the runs, lol!
If she wasn't complaining it prob wasn't reflux, maybe your son isn't as tough as Paige??
I think you're just a typical 'reflux mummy' blaming everything on this damn disease.
Hope you are all better soon xxx
Bugs seem to affect everyone differently. We all have one at the moment, brought home from the hospital (joy) and Lola threw up several times, then had some diarrhea, and now has loose mucous poo and zero appitite. Me and hubby have not been sick but really have the runs! Nice. I actually feel like I have a herd of cows charging around my tummy, and its not pleasant. I'm in bed feeling very sorry for myself in total agony from sporadic cramps and he is happily watching a film with his brother, so its different for everyone. Oh, and Lola's poo is yellow with this bug, the last bug it was practically technicolour. Hope everyone is better soon, I feel ruined!
Oh Susie, that's all you need. Hope you feel better tomw x
Hi b

I'd say it was still the bug. When Ryan had d&v it went just how you described and lasted about 8 days. The leaflet the hospital gave me said upto 14 days. Hope it clears soon.

Ps hope you're all better soon too susie x
