LittleRefluxers

Hi

Has anyone had experience of Carobel making their LO worse?

Harry has had diarrhea all week (probably from having had two bottles of normal formula last saturday).  We switched to nutramigen 1 with carobel yesterday morning and he is still being sick (albeit seems much happier in himself) but seemed to get worse this evening with projectile vomiting and yet more diarrhea.  We were previously using Gaviscon so I don't know if we should maybe switch back to that.

Not sure if I should be blaming the carobel or if it is just his system adjusting to all the changes he's had this week to his diet.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this?

Thanks!

Hi Laura
Yes carobel made Cían worse , he screamed the house down after I first gave it to him then he vomited every bottle back and had stringy mucus in his nappy the next day so I went back to gaviscon. I read that carobel is made from carob bean which is related to soya.
