Barium Meal please help??

Well Poppy had her Barium Swallow yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Before we went I had said to my partner that I wasn't sure what it was going to show up as Poppy had been having a really good couple of days. I was right to be worried as first indications showed thatn she didn't reflux but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this? The doc said that I would get the full results next week at our appointment as they would be looking at the xrays in more detail. I know she's got it but the literally gave her the liquid and waited a few minutes to see if she refluxed and I felt that it wasn't quite long enough you know what it can be like they can get it ages after a feed. The doc did say that the reflux sometimes doesn't happen as the liquid they give is really thick and it manages to stay down. As luck would have Poppy's reflux has been terrible today which is just typical for it not to happen when it needs to. Please let me know of you experiences of barium swallows and what our next possibe steps could be?? Many thanks Karen
