Hi I have another question.
With Ryan having silent reflux since birth I feel like i haven't been able to do tummy time or indeed as much play as I should. he is 15 weeks and I feel he is not doing things other 15 weekers are.Is this a common problem and do they catch up?? I am comparing to my older boy and know that all babies are different. edel

Hi. I found with Thomas that I did things later than I did with my daughter. For example I delayed doing a baby massage course until he was 4 months old. I tried one session of baby Yoga but that was a disaster, so never went back! I have not tried swimming yet (he is 9 months) but hope to start soon. You have to be patient with these little people, but they soon catch up. He did very little tummy time as a young baby, but he is already learning to crawl and my daughter was also crawling at 9 months. Just hang in there and find things to do that don't involve lying down!

In the end, he's done everything about 4m later than my older son, which makes sense as he wasted 4 months screaming, and at 20m he is running with the best of them and you'd never tell the difference. I'm sure Ryan wil catch up when he is comfortable enough to spend time learning. Try not to add it to your list of worries, easier said than done I know. Jen x
