LittleRefluxers

PLease can anyone comment on adult gaviscon versus infant gav. My first daughter had terrible reflux and after A&E in Aberdeen was put onto milk thickened with carobel and adult gavisocn. She was immediately better and we never looked back - at 7 months she came off it. Problem is my second daughter has reflux and the paed has precscribed omeprazole and infant gaviscon and nothing seems to have changed significantly. Does anyone know if adult gav is OK as I would like to use it! Omeprazole tastes revolting (has anyone tried it!?) so no wonder my little one hates it!

Adult gavison is not the same thing it contains ant acids where as the infant gavison is predom a feed thickener. Ranitadine will be used as the ant acid. Please take a look at our site for help and advice and share your experiences with others. Join now
