6 month old baby waking through the night not in amby baby anymore

Hi all,

Baby Isaac is 6 months old and was diagnosed with reflux when he was 8 weeks and has had gaviscon in his feeds. Before I started weaning him about 8 weeks ago he started waking through the night, my hv said he was hungry and started weaning, he now has 3 meals a day however his night wakenings have gradually got worse. He has been in a bath bottle bed routine since about 6 weeks and has always settled really well, however now he is waking about 1hr after bed at 7 and this continues thoughout the night with an extra feed at 12, up until he started waking he would sleep 7 - 5.30. We are exhausted.
I also need to add that baby Isaac was previously in his amby baby natures nest which we purchased on his diagnosis which was the best product we ever bought, however when he started waking we thought it could be that he was getting too big for it and he was waking himself trying to turn over so we moved him into his cot - that too is raised with reflux blocks. Has anyone encounted problems moving a little refluxer to a cot after hammock?
What are everyones thoughts on his waking? I am back to work in 4 weeks and have all the usual apprehensions but also was lucky as he slept until early morning now i worried about him and also my exhaustion! any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry hun I have no idea as such but I would perhaps go back to the docs and see if he maybe needs some other kind of reflux meds as well - thats my only suggestion
I really feel for u chuck, my daughter use to sleep from 9pm till 4am have a bottle then go straight back to sleep until i woke her at 7.30am due to the school routine with other kids. This was the way untill she hit 6 months old, she wakes 4 or 5 times a night, but will settle back off within a few minuets, however some nights she wont settle with out being able to get into bed inbetween myself and my hubby, (I no plenty of people tell me im wrong for doing this but at least i get a nights sleep,) she is now nearly 13 months and this still happens, it has become the norm. Not even sure if its a reflux thing or just the child them self.
