Gagging
Hi!
Does anyone else's baby make themselves gag by sticking their fingers down their throats? Is this anything to do with reflux? My 8mth old daughter does a lot. Tonight she was doing it constantly, made herself sick (lots of!) and seemed distressed by it. She was bothered by her acid reflux at teatime. She is on Omeprazole at the mo although the dose is not adequate!

hi, when amelia sucks her thumb or fingers she sometimes gags. we found out from a chiropractor that she has a very early gag reflex, so if she ctaches it in her mouth causes the gagging. might be worth going to a chiro to see if they can help. mine has been great, helping to release tension in her jaw and neck and desensitise the gag reflex. cant help witht he reflux though unfortutnately!!!
