£2700 grant

Hi, im new to all this but wasnt sure if anyone else was aware of a £2700 grant that should be available to all of our fella Relux sufferers for home improvements to heating and insulation (loft insulation, cavity wall insulation ,draughtproofing etc) if you own your own home or have a private landlord in rented.
We are presently applying for disability living allowence, which I have been told a child with reflux should be entitled to (although my little boy has other health issues also) and if you are in receipt of disability living allowence you should be entitled to claim the grant.
I have spoken to our local council who dont do the scheme but gave me a contact number of 0800 512 012 (The warm front team) who I have spoken to and have confirmed the above (once in receipt of the allowence claim). Im not sure if the phone contact was just local to my area but im sure they would be able to point you in the right direction if you gave them a call.
It is difficult enough for us as parents/carers to look after our little ones and when not all benefits and entitlements are advertised as available and made clear for us to claim ,so I thought I would pass on our find and hope that it may help some of you in some way. Good Luck. Jo
