LittleRefluxers

We took Gabriel to the baby clinic today and the HV asked how he was sleeping. We told her that he only sleeps 2-3 hours at a time and very badly after 3am, so she suggested baby massage. She's coming round next Tuesday to start a five week course with us in the hope it will help his sleeping patterns and possibly his reflux.

Has anyone else tried this and how successful was it?

We have a mattress which slopes very slightly, it's as much as he seems to be able to deal with. We tried a wedge and he hated it. He wouldn't sleep at all and he would thrash about and make himself sick.
not tried it yet but have a course booked for november and the instructor said that they have had good experience in helping refluxers. also going to show me some reflexology too. let me know how you get on.
we also prop the bed up.
I did this for my daughter Zoe and it did relax her and she seemed calmer but to be honest she wasn't too bad through the day it was the nights that were horrendous and still are, not as bad though as she is on full meds but still quite bad. But she enjoyed it and made me glad to see her face, bless her, it was amazing that she laid there and let me. You can always try it for nothing. Sharon x
You're right. It can't hurt to try can it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Will do.
