LittleRefluxers

Hey, just had little Joshua diagnosed with reflux. Can be quite scary at times when you see the amount of sick he brings up! But we're getting there. I'm looking for some advice coz he tends to not sleep well during the day and can only be comforted in mums arms. And he always gets the hiccups!!!!!

HI

My son is now 20 weeks and for 15 weeks we had a big problem too as he would not be conforted by any one but me, and he never fell to sleep alone without help, this has eased off and is getting better, I think getting the right cocktail of medication does hep and we weaned him at 17 weeks, which has also made a massive difference. The food seems to fill him up and make him tired, don't get me wrong he still needs help to get to sleep, but he goes down without to much of a fight now.
We have also proped up his cot mattress, we also found moving him from the basket to the cot helped. Dr Brown bottles reduce wind build up and this also helped him with the hiccups, you could try these. They are expensive but you can buy then cheaper on ebay new.
Hope his helps.
Hello

My daughter is 9 months old - she has been vomiting entire milk feeds from the age of 13 weeks and still vomits like this now. She sleeps fine in the day but is generally rocked to sleep for bedtime. If you just put her in her cot she cries until she is sick so it is easier to rock her to try to avoid this. She gets a lot of hiccups too and alwyas has (even in the womb!)
