Hi

Glad to hear that you have a Paed's appt at last (although 19th August is still a while to have to wait!)

Anyway, I would type up a history of Harrison's feeding (since birth or since the reflux started, if not since birth) to give to the Paed so that they can keep this on their file and they can use it as reference and you don't keep having to repeat information to them or worry that you have forgotten to tell them something. See if the Paed suggests a PH Study or barium meal. If they don't mention this (which would be odd) then ask them whether these tests could be carried out. They can also do a blood test to see if he is allergic to cow's milk. Also, he might benefit from being on a hypoallergenic milk (eg Pepti) even if he is not allergic to cow's milk as he might find this easier to keep down. What milk is he on at the moment?
he on normal aptamil 1 and at night aptamil hungrier baby....my doctor had never suggested changing milk or anythng, i did ask could it be an alllergy but he said he didn't think so...i hope they do some tests and find out whats going on with my poor little man...hows fraya? when is she having her barium swallow? x
Your Dr sounds a bit useless! A cow's milk allergy is always a possibility and one that should not be out ruled without having it checked out. Could you ask your GP if he could prescribe Pepti milk to try?

Fraya's milk drinking is a lot better now. She is having the barium swallow done on Friday.
