Hi

My son was the same. Once he started meds, but stopped gaviscon, he was sick more. We are now using 'Thick and Easy' in his milk, which thickens it. This does help a bit. The paed told me not to worry about the sickness, as long as he was putting weight on, he was getting everything he needed from his milk.

Why have they told you to stop the gaviscon? It is used as a thickner not too good but it does work as when my daughter was given gaviscon i thought it didn't do much good until i ran out of it one weekend and by god did i know about it, so it does work. Sharon x
Hi Sharon

The paed told us to try 'Thick and Easy'. He said it does the same job a gaviscon. I don't know why we were told to change. We tried going back on Gaviscon again, but my son didn't drink any milk. Gaviscon does thicken the milk, but the thick and easy makes it more of a creamy consistancy and I think he had got used to this!
