Reflux just isn't fair!

I thought i was alone until i found this website! I cant believe how commom this problem is and there is no real cure for it!!!
My little girl is 8 weeks and has not been at all settled since birth, i knew somethng wasnt right as my first baby wasnt like this, after endless trips to the doctors and four different milks, gaviscon and piriton to try get her to relax and to sleep i had a very unhappy inconsoulable constipated baby who didnt want anyone or anything! I was in tears everyday feeling so guilty for the pain she was in, after all this i went to the hospital in tears. Mia was diagnosed with acid reflux and lactose and protien intolerance! she has since been on losec tabs and motilium for a week also calpol every eight hours, they said i should have a much happier baby in 7-10 days, i dont feel a big improvement so far i just think the calpol is taking the edge off the pain. On average she sleeps 6 hours at night and no more than half hour in the day shes either screaming or feeding. im going back to the hospital i just want to be able to enjoy my baby!! Needed to get that off my chest, and would be great to meet others mums with this problem in hampshire!
